You can now apply for the Youth Innovation Challenge 2025. This is a fully funded program that will take place in Taiwan. If you are selected, you will be invited to Taipei in October 2025, where you’ll receive a prize and an award. All costs—such as travel, food, and accommodations—will be covered. The goal of this challenge is to bring together young people from around the world to share new and creative ideas to help protect the ocean and marine life. This program is organized by the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP), along with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Taiwan’s Ministry of Environment, the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE), and the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA).

Objective of the Program
The event aims to invite people around the world to suggest solutions to marine issues, such as conservation, biodiversity, and marine debris. Solutions can involve a variety of approaches, but must include environmental education. Solutions must be innovative, implementable, and informed by research.

Eligibility Criteria
