You can now apply for the WTO Young Professionals Program 2026 in Geneva, Switzerland. This fully funded one-year training program will give you practical experience in the World Trade Organization (WTO) and international trade. If selected, you will work at the WTO office in Geneva and receive a salary of CHF 4,000 per month, medical insurance, and travel expenses. The WTO Young Professionals Program (YPP) will begin in January 2026. There is no fee to apply, and candidates from WTO member countries can apply. This is a one-year program (not extendable) where you can gain hands-on experience at the WTO. When applying, you can choose up to three areas of WTO work that interest you the most, ranking them in order of preference. Some of the areas you can work in include:

- Intellectual property rights
- Government procurement (GPA)
- Rules, Trade, and Development

Eligibility Criteria
- Be a national of a WTO member state. The list of members is available here.
- Education: Possess an advanced university degree in:
- Economics
- Law
- More international trade-related topics related to the work of the World Trade Organization
- Age: Must not exceed 32 years.
- Language: Fluent in English.
- Experience: At a minimum, two years of relevant professional experience.
