During the internship, you’ll learn key skills for the financial industry and prepare for a future role as a Junior Analyst. Duration of WB Treasury Summer Internship
The Treasury Summer Internship is a full-time program that runs for ten weeks, from May 26 to August 3, 2026. The internship will take place in Washington, DC.
Treasury Summer Internship Stipend and Benefits
Interns will be paid on an hourly basis:
- Non-U.S. Citizens: Receive a net pay of $21.80 per hour.
- U.S. Citizens: Receive a gross pay of $26.20 per hour.
- Each intern will receive a World Bank laptop.
- The World Bank will sponsor a Visa, if required.

Eligibility Criteria
- The internship is open to everyone, no matter your country.
- You should be in your 3rd year of a 4-year college program, or 4th year of a 5-year program.
- Your major should be finance, business, economics, or a similar subject, but formal finance courses are not required.
- You must be able to work full-time during the internship.
- Be truthful in your application.
