Are you ready to study in Romania and need financial help? Well, Transilvania University offers a scholarship called the Transilvania Academica Scholarship. This scholarship is for candidates from countries outside of the European Union or the European Economic Area. You can use this scholarship to study for a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Degree. Plus, since Romania is in the European Union, you won’t need a Visa to travel to other EU countries.
The Transilvania Academica Scholarship will pay all your school fees and provide a place to stay in the dorms. You’ll also get monthly cash to help with your living charges. If you want to, you can work a part-time job for up to 20 hours every week. And don’t forget, you can still apply for the Romania Government Scholarship for 2024 until March 16, 2024. Scholarship Duration
The scholarship will cover all expenses of your Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D.

Scholarship Amount
The scholarship includes:
- Payment for your school fees, including the cost of registering and graduating.
- Free housing in the university hostel, even during breaks.
- A monthly stipend of 800 lei (which is about 170 USD), including during holidays.
Note: The scholarship doesn’t pay for travel costs or visa charges.
Required Documents for Scholarship
The application file includes the following documents (in .pdf format):
- Curriculum vitae
- Motivation letter (maximum one page).
- You need three letters from people who know you well and can say good things about how well you’ve done.
How to Apply for the Scholarship?
To apply for the Transilvania Academica Scholarship, you need to complete the online application form explained in the Application File section below. If you’re chosen for the scholarship, you’ll then go through the admission process at Transilvania University, which you can find out about here.
If you’re selected for the scholarship, you’ll receive an email notification by May 31, 2024. After that, from May 20 to July 15, 2024, you can apply online for admission to the university. You can find the official link to the scholarship below.
