Applications for the 2025 White House Internship Program are now being submitted. This internship takes place in Washington, D.C., at the White House. It is a public service program that enables students to gain real-world work experience and develop as future leaders. The goal of the program is to help students develop leadership skills and prepare for careers in public service. It is open to students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs. Experienced professionals will mentor interns and will get a close look at how the government works. Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the White House Internship Program
-
US citizens under the age of 18.
-
Currently studying in a college, community college, or university (2- or 4-year program) and have finished at least two semesters before the internship starts.
OR -
Have already graduated from a college, community college, or university (2- or 4-year program) within the last two years before the internship starts.
OR -
Be a U.S. Military veteran with a high school diploma (or equivalent) who has served on active duty at any time in the two years before the start of the internship.

Be available to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
