The good news is that final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students are also eligible for the A*STAR ACIS scholarship. The Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A-STAR) is a government agency in Singapore. ACIS stands for STAR Computing and Informatics Scholarship, which aims to attract Singaporean and international applicants to pursue a PhD in the field of Computing and Informatics (CIS). Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants in the final semester of their undergraduate studies are welcome to apply.
- Open to all nationals, including Singaporeans.
- Strong collaboration in the CIS region.
- Non-Singapore applicants must meet the criteria to be considered fully on track.
- Applicants should hold at least an upper-class honours degree (or equivalent) in a different subject.

Service Commitment
There is a 3-year service commitment. Non-Singaporeans must work for 3 years in any Singapore company related to the CIS subject.
