Applications are now open for the RIFS Fellows Program 2026 in Germany. This is a fully funded international fellowship, meaning all your expenses will be covered. The fellowship lasts 6 to 12 months, and during this time, you’ll live in Potsdam, Germany, where you’ll work on research and come up with new ideas to help build a more sustainable future. Each year, about 20 people from around the world are selected. The program is open to people from all backgrounds, and the best part? Eligibility Criteria

  • The Fellowship is open to all the Nationals. Candidates from around the world can apply.
  • Scientists with a PhD or equivalent experience.
  • Non-academic professionals with 3-5+ years of work experience.
  • People from media, arts, public policy, private sector & civil society.
  • Visionaries with a passion for sustainability transformation.
