Applications are now open for the OIST Research Internship in Japan for the spring 2027 intake. OIST offers a Fully Funded Internship for International students living in any country. OIST internships last between 3 and 6 months. Students and graduates from all countries are eligible to apply. The training is offered by the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) and will run from April 1, 2027 to December 30, 2027. Students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program, as well as recent graduates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from any university, are eligible to apply. During the internship, participants will work under the supervision of an OIST researcher. No IELTS or other English language test is required. More details are provided below.
