NATO is now accepting applications for its 2026 internship program. This is a fully funded opportunity for students from around the world. The internship lasts six months and is open to students in their final year of university, or those who’ve recently finished their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Interns will get a monthly allowance to help with living costs, 15 days of paid vacation, and help with travel expenses. The internship takes place at NATO’s headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. If you are selected for the next round, you will hear back in May. The final decision will be made in July or September. NATO Internship Requirements
To apply for the NATO Internship, you need to meet these basic requirements:
- Be 21 years old or older
- Be a citizen of a NATO member country
- Have finished at least 2 years of university, or be a recent graduate (within the last year), or be currently studying for a Master’s or PhD
- Be able to speak and understand English or French well
