Eligible Countries, Universities, and Disciplines for the MITACS Globalink Research Internship
Eligible Countries: Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Mexico, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the UK, and the US.
Additionally, the names of eligible universities in each country are also included. If your university’s name is included, you are eligible.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Meet the GPA requirements set for each country.
- Must have at least one to three semesters remaining until the fall of 2026.
- If you do not currently have a valid passport, you can apply.
- Get a letter of recommendation from a professor.
- Have an updated resume.
- Get your academic transcripts (in English or French).
- Apply for a minimum of three and a maximum of ten projects, and make sure the selection is from at least three different Canadian provinces.
- The passport must be valid until January 2027.
