Applications are now open for the KAUST MEWC 2026 Winter Camp. This is a fully-funded camp for students from all over the world.
The camp will last for six weeks and will be held on the KAUST campus. MEWC stands for Microelectronics Winter Camp. It is basically a research internship program that will run from January 12 to February 19, 2026. The program is open to undergraduate and graduate students, and its main goal is to engage them in research projects. There is no application fee. Objectives of the KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp
The program aims to improve the technical and innovative skills of undergraduate and graduate students, emphasizing key areas of microelectronics.
Program Features
- Advanced research projects in modern electronics.
- Workshops and technical training in cutting-edge technologies, including integrated circuits (IC), inkjet printing, 3D printing, and self-assembly.
- Design a gadget prototype based on a provided project.

Eligibility Criteria
- International candidates are eligible.
- It is open to recent graduates, final year undergraduate students, or postgraduate students in fields related to electrical and computer engineering.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 out of 4.00 or higher.
- Have the best English language skills.
- Show strong motivation to work on research projects.
