This programme is for people from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries who are already employed in their careers. It offers them the opportunity to spend time in a UK organisation, learn new skills, and gain more knowledge in their field. The aim is to help fellows become better at their work so they can contribute to their country’s development when they return. Fellows will work with a UK organisation that matches their professional background. The fellowship lasts from 6 weeks to 3 months and will start in February 2026. Eligibility Criteria
- An applicant must be a citizen of an eligible commonwealth country listed below.
- Be a citizen of or have been granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person.
- Have at least five years’ full-time, or equivalent part-time, relevant work experience.
- Must have an active employment status at the time of application.
- Provide at least two references.
