Applications are now open for the 2026 Forrest Foundation Fellowship. This is a fully funded international program at five universities in Western Australia. All selected fellows will live at Forrest Hall, located at the University of Western Australia in Perth.
The Fellowship lasts for 3 years and is open to both Australian and international applicants from any country. The goal is to support top researchers to do high-quality research at one of these universities.

Eligibility Requirements

You got your PhD on or after January 1, 2023, or will finish your PhD by December 31, 2025.

You plan to live at Forrest Hall during the Fellowship (exceptions may be allowed).

You have accepted a job at a university in Western Australia (the Foundation will help set this up).

You must officially receive your PhD before starting the job.

You must start the Fellowship and job within 12 months of getting the award.

You agree to give a yearly progress report to the Forrest Research Foundation and the Minderoo Foundation.
