The Eric Bleumink Fellowship is a fully funded scholarship for international students who want to study a Master’s degree at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. Applications for the 2026 program are now open.

This scholarship covers all Master’s programs offered by the university. It pays for everything needed to complete a Master’s degree (like MSc, MA, or LL.M) and lasts 1 or 2 years, depending on the program. To apply, students must first be accepted—conditionally or fully—into a Master’s program at the University of Groningen. The university, founded in 1614, is the second-oldest in the Netherlands. Eligibility Criteria

To be able to apply for this scholarship:

  • You must be a citizen of one of the countries listed below.

  • You must get a conditional or full admission offer for a Master’s program at the University of Groningen before February.

  • If you apply after this deadline, your application will be considered for the next round.

  • See a List of Master’s degree programs and apply online.
  • You must have done well in your previous studies and have good grades.

  • You need to meet the required level of English.

  • You must be able to attend the entire program from start to finish.
