Romania ARICE Scholarship 2026/27 (Fully Funded BS, MS, PhD)

Applications are now open for Romanian ARICE Scholars 2026/27. This scholarship is offered by the Romanian Association of Foreign Investment and Trade (ARICE) and the Ministry of Education. Every year, scholarships are offered to international students who wish to pursue a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree at accredited public universities in Romania. Students from most countries are eligible to apply, in addition to those from European Union (EU) and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) member states. There is no application fee. Selected students will also receive a free one-year Romanian language course to help them learn and understand the Romanian language before starting their studies.

Scholarship Duration

  • Bachelor’s: 3-6 years

  • Note: Dental medicine, stomatology, and pharmacy are excluded from scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The grant is open to all citizens except those from the European Union.
  • Priority is given to citizens of non-EU and non-EFTA countries.
  • Romanian citizens are not eligible.
  • Citizens applying for asylum in Romania are not eligible.
  • Citizens with a long-term residence permit in Romania are not eligible.
