Role of the Intern

The intern will assist the Executive Director with various knowledge and information management functions, including supporting the global mission and functions of the Executive Director.

Responsibilities include conducting research, organizing and developing a knowledge management system, and supporting the front office in preparing briefings, documents, and background materials as needed.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Studying or recently completing a degree program.

  • Interested in a career with the United Nations or NGOs.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in project work, support roles, communications, writing, or data/document handling.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and drafting/writing skills;
    • Strong organizational skills;
    • Ability to produce quality work under pressure and maintain discretion;
    • Good judgment, initiative, and analytical ability;
    • Familiarity or experience with knowledge management and SharePoint sites is desirable.
