Applications are now open for the EU4Ocean Summer School 2026 on Ocean Literacy and Collaboration. This is a 5-day program (14-18 September) taking place in Milazzo, Italy, where participants will learn how to work together on ocean-related projects and support a sustainable blue economy in coastal cities. Applying is open from all over the world. There is no application fee and no IELTS required. Selected participants will receive free accommodation, food, and travel support.

The EU4Ocean Summer School will bring together 25 young people from EU and non-EU European countries, including students on Masters and PhD programmes and early career professionals:
- Learn about the goals and activities of EU4Ocean and Youth4Ocean
- Learn how to grow your work under the UN Ocean Decade
- Understand how to work well with others on ocean projects
- Improve teamwork and communication with people from different backgrounds
- Learn how to help build a sustainable blue economy
- Get knowledge about local ocean problems
- Learn how to work with local organizations and institutions
