Applications are now open for the WIPO Internship Roster 2026. This is a fully funded internship in Switzerland. The program includes round-trip airfare, a monthly stipend, and local transportation expenses in Geneva. Both undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply. WIPO stands for World Intellectual Property Organization, an international group that deals with intellectual property (IP) such as inventions, ideas, and creative works. It became a specialized agency of the United Nations in 1974. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in innovation and creativity. - Interns from developing countries and least developed countries can receive up to 1,500 Swiss francs for round-trip flight tickets.
- Undergraduate students receive 1,645 Swiss francs per month to help with accommodation, food, and local travel expenses.
- Graduate students receive 2,170 Swiss francs per month to help with accommodation, food, and local travel expenses.
- Visa assistance is provided.
- Interns also receive paid leave (paid days off).

Eligibility Criteria
- WIPO internships are open to people from any country.
- Applicants must be studying at a university or have a previous degree.
- Students must be in the third or fourth year of a bachelor’s program.
- Graduates can apply if they have completed their degree within the last two years.
- Applicants must be able to use a computer, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar programs.
