Japan World Bank Scholarship 2026 (Fully Funded)

The applications are now open for the Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship 2026. It is a Fully Funded Scholarship for International students to pursue a Master’s Program from one of the participating Universities Located in the U.S., Europe, Africa, Oceania, and Japan. 24 universities offer 41 eligible master’s degree programs. To be eligible for the World Bank Scholarship Program, you must have an unconditional admission offer. The Joint Japan-World Bank Scholarship application form will only be shared with applicants who have been unconditionally accepted into one of the participating master’s programs. There is no application fee for the World Bank Scholarship.     • KIT / Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam: MS in Public Health and Health Equity

Eligibility Criteria

  • Nationality: Must be a citizen of a developing country.
  • Citizenship: Cannot hold dual citizenship of any developed country.
  • Health: Must be in good health.
  • Education: Students must have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification) obtained at least three years prior to the application deadline. Candidates must have received unconditional admission to an eligible participating program by the scholarship application cut-off date.
  • Professional Experience: Candidates must have at least three years of full-time, paid employment in a development-related role within the past six years. Relevant part-time experience may also be considered.
