Selected scholars will receive financial support from October 2026 to September 2030. The scholarship provides a monthly payment of €1,300, along with coverage for travel costs and insurance for health, accidents, and liability. Scholars will also receive funds for study and research, as well as additional support for family or rent if needed. A German language course will be offered before the program begins. Each year, €1,000 will be allocated for research, which will be managed by the host institute. Scholars may also receive funding for short research stays outside Germany, but this cannot exceed 25% of the total funding period.
