This scholarship is for students from other countries and Italians living abroad who want to study in Italy. It covers Master’s degrees, PhD programs, arts and music courses (AFAM), and research projects at Italian public universities or officially recognized institutions. Students from 141 countries can apply, and the goal is to help those who may not have the money to study in Italy.

How does this MAECI Scholarship work?
If you want to gain admission to an Italian university and wish to apply but lack sufficient funds for your studies:
- If you are selected, the MAECI scholarship will cover your expenses.
- Most Italian public universities support the MAECI scholarship program.
- When applying to an Italian university, select the MAECI scholarship option.

Financial Coverage
The MAECI Scholarship covers:
- Exemption from payment of registration and tuition fees.
- Health and Medical/Accident insurance.
- A total of 9000 Euros will be given to the students, which will be divided into three installments.
- The 1st installment of 4500 euros.
- The 2nd installment of 2500 Euros.
- The 3rd and final installment is 2000 euros.

Eligibility Criteria
- This scholarship is open to citizens of 141 countries.
- Applicants applying for the master’s degree program must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
- Age must be 28 years or younger at the time of application for the master’s degree program.
- If you are applying for the PhD program, you must be 30 years of age at the time of application.
- Applicants must be able to prove their English language proficiency with IELTS or another language certificate, such as the English Proficiency Language Certificate.
