Hello! The McCain Global Leaders Program (MGLP) 2025 is starting now; you can apply! This fully funded and amazing program lasts 12 months and includes online workshops and 25 days of travel to three states including the United States and Vietnam. The Global Leaders program will select 25 members from all over the world. Anyone can apply, and there’s no fee for application.
The Global Leaders program pays for air tickets, stipends, accommodation, and visas. Any person from all countries and job fields is welcome to apply. The 2025 McCain Global Leaders Program theme is “ Human Rights and Advancing Democracy .” The program aims to find and support future leaders who are dedicated to encouraging democracy and human rights. Program Theme
2025 Theme: Advancing Democracy and Human Rights (Applicants may come from any background or career path).
The McCain Institute realizes that the world is becoming more and more complex, with superpower impact, the rise of authoritarian government, threats to democracy, human rights abuses, and climate change impacting the planet. Also be aware that 2025 will be a time of major global change and challenges, driven by recent and upcoming elections and conflicts in various regions. The McCain Institute’s goal is to find a various group of leaders who are working to support democracy and human rights in their countries through their work and projects.

Program Structure
The program lasts twelve months, starting in June 2025 and closing in May 2026. It includes 25 days of travel to:
Fall 2025 (Annapolis, MD, and Washington, D.C.): The program kicks off with a ten-day in-person event.
Winter 2025/2026: A 5-day “Changemaker Tour” will be held in a host country within every region.
Spring 2026 (Vietnam): The program wraps up with a seven-day “Legacy Experience” in Vietnam.
Eligibility Criteria
- The wonderful Program is open to all the Nationals.
- Career Level: Mid-career to top-level professional workers with a minimum of five years of professional experience.
