6th ASEF Young Leaders Summit 2025 in Japan (Fully Funded)

Applications are now open for the 6th ASEF Young Leaders Summit in 2025. This fully international leadership event for young people from Asia and Europe will take place in Japan from September 29 to October 5, 2025, and will be organized by SAKA. The 7-day event will bring all selected participants together in person to explore the theme “Leadership in Society 5.0.” You don’t need to take the IELTS test, and there’s no application fee. The summit is designed for young leaders who care about leadership and making a difference in their communities. It will focus on three key areas: self-leadership, team leadership, and community leadership. ASEF will select 60 participants. They’ll also get a chance to share their leadership ideas at the World Expo 2025 in Osaka. More details on what’s covered and how to apply are available below.

Learning Phase | 29 July – 26 August 2025 | Online

2. Action Phase | August 27 – September 28, 2025 | Online
Put your leadership skills into action with online activities.

3. Youth Summit (In Person) | September 29 – October 5, 2025 | Osaka, Japan
Meet face-to-face in Japan for networking, sharing ideas, and learning together.
